The updated version address nine vulnerabilities, six of which are rated as "high severity". These includes Memory corruption in WebGL canvas handling, Cross-origin violation with “magic iframe”,libpng integer issue from upstream.
As part of its Chromium Security Vulnerability Rewards programme, a total of $5,500 was awarded to the security researchers who discovered reported the vulnerabilities.
