Microsoft has put out there for all to use to help fight the fight against Viruses and Spyware. I have to say that from my own experience this software works and a lot of times it will be the only scanner to find and remove the infections. When combined with other programs like Malewarebytes, or any Norton products you will have a much better chance of removing the infection and getting your computer back to normal.
